Got a little carried away

Thought to myself North to South duffield that seems quite easy, I will give that a shot. By the time I had arrived at South Duff I had already done the 4 miles I had set myself, so now had to get back home. Phone at the ready, I really considered calling hubby to come get me as I was completely out of breath and without my inhaler. But no, brave soldier that I am, I puffed my way all the way back. Legs are screaming when I climb the stairs, but I cant help feeling a little smug its only 7.8 miles but I struggled with 2 miles, 3 days ago.

Really not sure how I am going to manage any exercise or blogging from tomorrow, as I back on hospital placement. I have to leave the house at 5.30 to catch two buses and then wont get home until late. I have never exercised in the evening, as I am a morning person, will have to be inventive me thinks.

  1. I wonder if wearing a pedometer and logging the miles you walk in a day would count for janathon. that could save you time.

  2. I am going to get off the buses two stops early, there and back, hopefully that will be about 5 miles walking Lena :)

  3. Cracking ride today - especially given the need for sudocream the day before! I like the pedometer idea too. I did it once and was amazed at how much I walk in a day (I'm a teacher) - I'm sure it would be even more in a hospital.
    Good Luck!

  4. Awesome distance - well done! I reckon that you should count the number of steps in the hospital rather than take the lift - I bet that would work out to a helluva lot.

You've just reminded me that I forgot "C" for "Chafing" - I'll have to go and edit my blog.

  5. Run around the hospital a couple of times in your lunch break? Well done on cycle, hope your legs feel better soon!

  6. That's excellent, and you were in so much pain not so long ago with the PF. Good to see you back in action and getting well into your work :)

  7. Really well done - if I had done that distance would definitely count walking around the hospital
